"When they had preached the gospel to that city and had made many disciples, they returned to Lystra and to Iconium and to Antioch, strengthening the souls of the disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith, and saying that through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God."  ~Acts 14:21-22 ESV

I have 30+ years of life experience, 16+ years of Christian experience, 15+ years of marriage experience, 14+ years of parent experience, 8+ years of ministry leadership experience, and I have come to one conclusion-

LIFE IS HARD

No matter who you are or where you live you will have conflict, heartache, hardship, failures- the list can go on and on. It's hard to find GODLY advice, wisdom and encouragement. Well, you have found the right place. I want to encourage you to fight the good fight.

WHAT IS THE GOOD FIGHT?

Your faith. 1- Fight to believe that God is who He says He is; 2- Fight to believe that God will do what He says He'll do; and 3- Fight to believe that God is the Supreme, Final Authority over everything. And guess what? This Supreme, Final Authority over all loves you and has YOUR BEST interest in mind.

WHY DO I HAVE TO FIGHT TO BELIEVE THIS?

We have an enemy on the prowl, who runs around looking for weak ones to chew up, spit out and leave for dead. One of the main jobs of this enemy is to weaken us in every way:

weaken our minds

weakens our spirits

weaken our bodies

weaken our faith

This enemy wants to weaken our faith so we can lose faith in God- and then he can accuse us before God for not trusting in Him [read Job. Satan weakened Job and wanted Job to 'curse God and die']. This enemy will work day and night to set up situations in our lives to tempt us to sin and lose our faith.

Things The Enemy Does Not Want You To Believe:

-that God is who He says He is

-that God will do what He says He'll do

-that God is the Supreme, Final Authority over everything

Our job is to trust in God and believe. We are called to be strong in the power of God's might. Our own strength and power is too small. We need God- and other warrior saints- to help us through our battles. We are strengthened after each battle we win and are called to help other 'weak ones' through their battles.

No matter how hard life gets, no matter how hopeless things look, no matter how bad you act-

FIGHT FOR YOUR FAITH!
