Christian Family II
"And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve... but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD." ~Joshua 24:15
Lord, fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding and discernment in all spiritual things, so that our lives and walk may be worthy of You and perfectly pleasing to You. May we be fruitful in every good work. Cause us to continue to grow and increase in the knowledge of You. Empower us with all power, according to the might of Your glory. Cause us to endure with all patience and long-suffering with joy. May we be strengthened by the joy You infuse into our spirits. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
Strengthen us by Your Spirit with power in our innermost beings - according to the riches of Your glory. We thank You that Christ dwells in our hearts. Cause us to be completely and utterly rooted and grounded in Your love. Make our roots deep and our foundations strong in You. Cause us to understand and comprehend with all of God's people how wide, long, high, and deep Your love really is. Lord, cause us to know the love of Christ- that passes all knowledge - so that we will be filled with all the fullness of God.
Lord, we humbly commit the keeping of our souls to you. Trusting You as our faithful creator. Teach us to consider the number of our days so that we may obtain wisdom. May our walk with You be done in the most worthy and effective way, pleasing You.
As we look not at the things that are seen- we will trust You with all of our hearts. We will not trust in our own limited understanding. We will completely trust in and rely on You.
Make us perfect in every good work to do Your will. May Your peace work in us. May we be counted worthy of this calling You have bestowed upon our lives. Cause us to fulfill all the good pleasure of Your goodness so that the name of Jesus will be glorified in us, and us in Him, according to Your grace and the grace of Your son, Jesus Christ.
Lord, use us to help open the eyes of people, turning them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God- that they would receive forgiveness of sins, become sanctified by faith and receive an inheritance in You.
Increase our faith in You. Give us the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Illuminate and enlighten the eyes of our understanding, so that we may know what is the hope of which You have called us, what are the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of Your power toward us who believe, according to the working of Your great might.
Lord, we will not be envious and anxious about sinners. We must remember that they will be cut down in their sin. We will continue to solely trust in You and will continue to do good so that we will prosper according to and in Your Will. You will give us the desires of our hearts because we delight ourselves in You. We will commit all our ways to You, trusting You, and You shall bring all of our heart’s desires to pass. You will bring forth our righteousness and judgment as the light and noonday. We will completely rest in You and patiently wait for You. We will not get anxious over those who prosper in their own carnal and fleshly ways, those who work wicked devices. We will keep ourselves from anger and wrath toward them; We will not participate in wicked devices like them. They will eventually be cut off, but those who are faithful and wait on You, we shall inherit the earth.
Lord, look upon the evil works of those against us. Grant us the boldness to continue to speak Your Word, Your Truth. Stretch forth Your mighty hand to heal, and may many True, Divine signs and wonders be done by Jesus Christ through us. Fill us with Your Holy Ghost and cause us to speak Your Word with boldness.
Lord, reveal to us the plans of the enemy. Make their devices and counsels known to us, bring every wicked thing done in the dark to light. Cause every device and counsel to come to naught, so that me and my family will not be hindered in any way in our growth in You. Cause us to grow in grace, boldness and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Lord, cause our hands to work for You. Make us to bear much good fruit and do many good works. Make yourself know to all our enemies. Make them to know that You are truly with us.
Lord, our enemies speak out against us, they say we will not make it, we will be barren and unfruitful in the things of You. Oh, Lord, cause us to bear much fruit in You and be pleasing in Your sight.
Lord, I thank You that we belong to You, that we are Your children. By the precious blood of Jesus, we have overcome the world. The Spirit of God and the Kingdom of God dwells within us, therefore greater is He that dwell within us than the prince of the air, the kingdom of darkness, and the kingdoms of this world.
Father God, I pray that we will continuously grow in much grace and continuously grow in the knowledge of Jesus.
I pray that we will always be an example for other believers, in word, in conversation, in love, in spirit, in faith and in purity.
Lord, give us the incentive, diligence, steadfastness, and passion to study so that we may prove that we are workmen for God and will not be ashamed. Show us, by Your Holy Spirit, how to rightly divide the Word of Truth. We will not participate in profane and vain speech- because this leads to more ungodliness. Make us to be a godly, wise servants for You.
We are blessed as long as we do not listen and obey ungodly counsel, or stand with sinners, or sit with scornful men. We take much delight in Your ways and commandments, on which we meditate all day and all night. Lord, make us to be firmly planted in You, with roots that run deep by the water. Cause us to bring forth good fruit, in and out of season. Do not allow our leaves to ever whither. Bless us, and cause whatever we do to prosper in You.
Bless our children to grow as Jesus did when He was a child. May they grow strong in and be filled with Your Holy Spirit and Your wisdom. May Your grace be upon them. May they increase in wisdom and stature, and have favor with You and with man.
Cause us to walk circumspectly in doctrine. May we continuously walk in the true doctrine of Jesus Christ, which is sound, proven, effective and powerful.
As stewards and servants of Yours, cause us to be blameless- not self willed, not having an angry temper, not a drunk or have the love of alcohol, not quarrelsome, not greedy for ill gain or money. But cause us to be lovers of hospitality, of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate and disciplined. May we always hold fast to the faithful Word of God, to sound doctrine. Give us the ability to exhort and convince gainsayers of Your Goodness through this sound doctrine.
Do not allow us to be oppressed or walk in fear of man, which is a snare to our soul. May we always trust in You- this is where our safety lies.
With You- Oh King- there is the fountain of life. You are the life giver. In Your light we shall see light. We desire to know You all the more. Therefore, continue Your loving-kindness towards us. Keep pride far from us and do not allow the hand of the wicked to have any dominion over us. Do not allow workers of iniquity to rise against us.
Lord, hear our prayers. Preserve our lives from the fear of the enemy. Hide us from the secret counsel of the wicked, from the company of sinners. They undeservingly shoot arrows at us, therefore keep and protect us. We will be glad and trust in You. We shall triumph over our enemies.
Never allow us to be put into confusion. Deliver us in Your righteousness and cause us to escape all types of destruction. Be our strong place where we may always dwell and run to. You said in Your Word that You will save us, that You are our rock and fortress. Always deliver us from the hand of the wicked ones, the unrighteous and the cruel. You are our only hope.
We love You with all our hearts, our souls, our minds and our strength. We hate all evil. It is written in Your word that You preserve the souls of Your saints- therefore preserve our souls. Deliver us out of the hand of the wicked. Light and gladness is the inheritance of the righteous. We are righteous through the blood of Jesus- therefore we will rejoice and give thanks at the remembrance of Your holiness.
Lord, we have kept your commandments. Although the enemy has come against us, we will not forget Your law. We will rise in the midnight hour to give thanks to You because all of Your judgments are righteous.
You will save us because we belong to you. We have diligently sought Your precepts. The wicked have waited to destroy us, but we will keep all of Your testimonies in mind. We have seen a limit to all perfection, but Your ways are broad.
