Expressions of Authority

 

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  ~Luke 10:19  

 

“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.  (2)  And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.”  ~Luk3 9:1-2

 

 

GOD HAS GIVEN US AUTHORITY AND POWER THROUGH JESUS CHRIST

 

This authority and power is true:

 

It is given through Christ’s righteous, which dwells in is, making us righteous:

 

 Lord, keep us from all evil:

 

God has given us power though Jesus:

 

We are equipped through Jesus

 

Our authority and power has been declared by God

 

We are kept by God through Jesus:

 

 

 

Authority is “exousia” in Greek. It means to have the ability, the privilege, the force,

the competency, the delegated influence, the right, the power, the liberty, the strength t

o do something. It means “it is right” or “it is lawful”.  It means having the legal right and a

bility to influence, which is delegated [originating] from I AM.
