When we come before the face of God on Judgment day- what will we say? Pleading will definitely be too late. We will be judged according to what we knew and what we did. This poem is an example to the Christian of how important it is to spread the Good News.  I don't want to be the friend, relative or neighbor of the sinner who will say to God- "No one told me, so I never knew."

A Sinner's Plea

No one told me which road I should take
No one told me I wouldn’t make it without faith
No one told me that life would be hard
No one told me without You I’d fall

No one told me the way I should've gone
No one told me I would travel alone
No one told me I had the victory

No one told me with You I'd be free

No one told me life was bittersweet
No one told me it isn't always easy
No one told me I couldn’t do it without You
No one told me while I was going through

No one told me the tears I’d cry
No one told me in sin I would die
No one told me the battles I’d fight
No one told me to follow the Light

No one told me You already paid the price
No one told me You gave up Your life
No one told me You already loved me first
No one told me Jesus broke the curse

No one told me with You I’d escape
No one told me there was a better way
No one told me You could set me free
No one told me You would deliver me

No one told me that death was my end
No one told me while I was in sin
No one told me I could have eternal life
No one told me how You sacrificed

No one told me one day I would fall
No one told me to answer the call
No one told me to hold on to You
No one told me, so I never knew
