I believe everyone is going to have some type of pain associated with life. Even if you succeed, there was a certain amount of pain present along the process. Birthing a child is painful, but there is much joy in the end (an infant). Relationships start out in joy, but pain will enter at some point in time. God never promised us total release from all pain in this lifetime. Jesus had to suffer. He endured the cross for the joy set before Him. We also must endure pain in our lives, as partakers and joint heirs of Christ. Endure it like a true soldier. It's never greener on the other side of the fence.
