Love hurts. No doubt. God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son. That hurts. That's sacrifice. Especially when the world is filled with unloving, ungrateful people. Jesus gave up His life for us, before we even knew who He was. He suffered so that we may live abundantly. Though many today don't serve or even acknowledge Jesus, there are many who do.

 

100% of the love you give out may never be returned, but when you give it in the right spirit, your reward is in heaven. Jesus told the people not to charge interest when they lend. When you give love, don't look for it back. Yes, it's nice when it's returned, but don't make it a requirement.
